Q Steal blood / Burn blood

1-What happen when you Steal 1 or 2 Blood to a vampire doens't have blood?? -Nothing -counts "like damage resoult?" ----> goes to torpor? -counts like agravatted damage? -......Diablerie ?? :) ( think about it... it's funy this option...!) -Burns the opposing vampire? (like Vtes basic rules) ??? and you gain a blood because the steal if opposing doens't have blood to spend??? 2-Can you burn a blood to a Vamp that doens't have blood? A burned vampire doesn't go to torpor. or, perhaps, the question he meant to ask was: "can you burn a blood on a vampire that doesn't have any blood?" to which i would reply: a vampire will never go to torpor from "burn blood" effects, even if they have no blood. (this gets slightly murky during non-agg damage resolution, as an empty vampire taking one damage will go to torpor. however, it wasn't because he "tried to burn a blood and failed", it's because he has an unhealed point of damage to resolve.) as for "can you burn a blood" on an empty vamp: yes. it just does nothing. however, this doesn't quite work if you want to burn the blood to "do" something, or to pay for something. example: aisha's card text of "burn one blood to get +1 intercept". if she is empty, she can't get the intercept. she needs to burn the blood to "do" the thing. example: smiling jack the anarch says "burn one blood or pool for each counter on jack" [paraphrased]. you can't just choose an empty vampire an say "that vampire burns blood for each counter on jack". example: forced awakening has text of "burn one blood if this vampire fails to block the action" [paraphrased again]. this is a side-effect of failing to block. kind of a "passive" effect. if the vampire is empty, it just tries and fails to burn the one blood. there, now if that doesn't confuse you, i'll be suprised. salem.
