From the White Wolf homepage (http://www.white-wolf.com)
White Wolf fans, you do not want to miss this!
On Saturday of this year's Gen Con, White Wolf will reveal a secret project
that has been years in the making. To put it mildly, this is big news. If
you are going to Gen Con, you want to make sure you set aside this time!
Where: White River Ballroom, Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, IN
When: 10:00 a.m.; Saturday, July 26, 2003
What: ?????
Arrive early, because there'll be free T-shirts and party passes while
supplies last.
Saturday evening we will have a party open to all fans! Those with
announcement t-shirts will drink on us!
Those unable to make the announcement should check out
http://www.white-wolf.com/ at just past 12:00 noon Eastern when we'll make
the official press release available.
.this is the time.

When does the N.A. championship start? I can't seem to crack the GenCon
site.

Thanks for rubbing that in, GRRRrrrrrrrrrr.
So is this anything to do with the expansion that can't be delayed any
further? Is it even Vampire related? Some on guys.. where's all the
spurious speculation?

Gee, I'd love to go, but I seem to be scheduled to play in a VTES
tournament at just that time.

My guess is this announcement, the books to be released next year
and the next expansion for V:TES all have one little word in common:
Gehenna!
Just my hopefull 2 cents.

I actually hope that it is the VTES compatible Mage-expansion Michael
Eichler has been working on for quite some time now!
Tim
Sorry Andy B, I have lost your Email. But I agree with you and Colin G
that the only project that could take years in the making is that
Christopher Shy has designed a new face.
I can't wait wait to see it ;)
*INCOMING! DUCK AND COVER!*

Surely you can get there cheaper than that? That would be a nice prize for
WW to put up for a tournament though ...

Tim,
Could you please have Michael Eichler email me.

Are they looking at changing one time or the other? Otherwise, it seems
kinda... I don't know, like rubbing our faces in it to even post it
here. I'm going to be at GenCon. I like WW. I /like/ free drinks. But
I wouldn't even be going to GenCon if it weren't for V:TES. Maybe we
could start the nationals at 11:00?

They're looking at accommodating the parallel start, of course.
The time of the North American Championship (what is the "National" of
which you speak? :-) will not be changed, nor will the time of the announcement.

Cool that they're thinking about it. My suggestion would be to just
relocate the announcement to /my/ table. Pass it on up to Steve and see
what he thinks, will you?

If you can just go ahead and arrange for me to drink for free Saturday
night regardless, I'll stop worrying about it. ;)
Thanks for the stellar effort!

I've got friends in The Cloning Department. *One* of me *is* going to be
drinking on Da Wolf come Saturday night.

Turn up early and collect your T-Shirt and party pass, then go to your
competition and find out about the announcement at the party ;-)
(don't know if this is feasible and i'm the other side of the ocean anyway
so I don't really care ;-P)

Well they have been adding new Ally stuff lately.
From Anarchs:
Ghouled
Sunset Strip
Sarah Raines (anti-Mage special)
From Camarilla:
Erichtho (recruit Mage special)
Could be very interesting.

if he checks het email often.

I haven't heard from him in over a year. Did his email change. I kept
being bounced from it.

That'd be great! Mike showed that to me before he left Ramstein and I
was very impressed. And since it's been several months since he left
I'm sure he's worked on it some more.

I rather doubt that it's going to be a purely VTES thing - they would
hardly have clashed it with the tournament if it were.
