case: Sargon: "Whenever Sargon successfully performs an action, you get the Edge" Regaining the upper hand: "Choose a Methuselah. Successful <referendum> means the chosen Methuselah gets the Edge". question: who gets the edge if Sargon succesfully calls this referendum (referendum passes), choosing a different methuselah than the methuselah controlling Sargon (his prey, for example)? possibilities include: a: the methuselah controlling sargon immediately gets the edge b: the choosen methuselah immediately gets the edge c: the methuselah controlling sargon gets the edge for an instant, then the edges passes to the chosen methuselah d: the chosen methuselah gets the edge for an instant, then the edges passes to the methuselah controlling sargon e: neither methuselah gets the edge; edge is now uncontrolled f: neither methuselah gets the edge; edge remains uncontrolled or with methuselah who had it before the referendum was called g: sargon cannot call this referendum if another methuselah is choosen h: ??? if answer is c or d: does the instant of possessing the edge give that methuselah the opportunity to burn the edge to get rid of extorion/threat-counters; is that methuselah is your prey, do you gain a form counter on your form of corruption (each time your prey gets the Edge anew, put a form counter on this card). gr. First the chosen Methuselah. Then Sargon's controller. > if answer is c or d: does the instant of possessing the edge give that > methuselah the opportunity to burn the edge to get rid of > extorion/threat-counters; is that methuselah is your prey, do you gain a Yes. > form counter on your form of corruption (each time your prey gets the Edge > anew, put a form counter on this card). Yes, if your prey didn't have it before. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
