5th Tradition : Hospitality Can it be used by a vampire (Prince or Justicar) ON HIMSELF ? ie, he/she spends 1 blood, and regain all its blood capacity. ... unless it must be used only on another vampire (The Prince/Justicar welcomes another vampire by his/her home) Malkavian Dementia When does the dement malkavian untap, and when can he/she act ? Bloodhunt after Diablerie (not the card) Who votes ? Which cards are usable ? Does the deuce always be a failure ? Duncan IDAHO.

TL> Malkavian Dementia TL> When does the dement malkavian untap, and when can he/she act ? Minions untap at the beginning of the Untap phase. If you steal a tapped Malkav, it can't do much. (Of course, you could always steal its equipment. :-) Also, when the Malkav is transferred back to its previous controller, it becomes untapped first (at the beginning of your untap) and then moves back to the Meth. Question: What happens if someone else Dements an already Demented Malkav? TL> Bloodhunt after Diablerie (not the card) TL> Who votes ? Which cards are usable ? As this is a heinous crime, the Methuselahs act directly, rather than a vampire calling the vote. Any vampire that has a title may contribute its votes to the bloodhunt. Also, Methuselahs may burn political cards or spend the Edge for votes. Action Modifiers and Reaction cards may not be played as there is no minion action to modifier or react to. -- Jack Vinson vin...@unagi.cis.upenn.edu Philadelphia, PA http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~vinson/home.html Q. I agree that it does not "feel" right given what the card represents, however, the card places no limitation such as you suggest on itself. > Malkavian Dementia > When does the dement malkavian untap, and when can he/she act ? All cards untap during the UNTAP PHASE of the controller. If you take a tapped Malkavian during your MASTER PHASE it will not untap until your following UNTAP PHASE (at which time it will return to the original controller), unless you have some type of untap card (such as Rat's Warning, etc.). > Bloodhunt after Diablerie (not the card) > Who votes ? Which cards are usable ? Does the deuce always be a > failure ? Anyone with a title can vote. A player with the Edge can throw in the Edge for 1 vote. No cards may be played during the bloodhunt vote. The condition of the vote is to burn the diablerizer, so if the vote ties, it fails and the diablerizer is not burned. > Duncan IDAHO.

Jack Vinson <vin...@unagi.cis.upenn.edu> writes: >Question: What happens if someone else Dements an already Demented Malkav? Then they grab control from you. As you will no longer have the demented Malk. during your UNTAP PHASE, you cannot return the vampire. When the second stealer hits their UNTAP PHASE, the Malk. goes back to the original controller. Why not back to the first stealer. The card states: "You control...until your next untap phase." As the UNTAP PHASE has passed for the first stealer, control would not return to him (or her). > TL> Bloodhunt after Diablerie (not the card) > TL> Who votes ? Which cards are usable ? To the original poster: my reply stated that "no cards could be played" during the bloodhunt vote. That was wrong. As Jack points out, vote cards can be used, just not action modifiers or reaction cards. Sorry for the confusion. [ quoted text not captured ]

Actually, Politcal action cards can be burned for votes; the only cards you can't play are action modifiers and reaction cards (The reason for this is that there is no action to modify or react to).
