I would like to have a confirmation that if I play Enticement, it is an action directed and that, normaly, only the prey can attempt to block it. Enticement [FN] Cardtype: Action Discipline: Serpentis Only usable if you control the Edge. [ser] (D) Burn the Edge to cause your prey to burn 2 pool. Your minions cannot attempt bleed actions for the remainder of the turn. [SER] As above, but your prey burns 3 pool. The reason I think it's a directed action is that the card have a D on it and that the target of the action is the prey. (Since it's the prey that will burn the pool) But a player here think that it's an undirected action since, for him, that action target something I controle, the Edge, not something controled by an other meth. 6.2.2. of the rulebook: «If the action is not directed at another Methuselah (or at something controlled by another Methuselah), then the action is called undirected and can be blocked by the acting Methuselah's prey or predator, with the prey getting the first opportunity to block.» So, my question is : Enticement is a directed or undirected action ? If it makes it easier to understand, you are targeting your prey's pool, burning the edge a result of your action. > Thank you. > > Richard Labrecque, aka Khaleph Alendis > VEKN Canada : http://www.oricom.ca/melkor/khaleph/index_ang.htm -- Oscar Garza Prince of College Station Tx The Crazy Aggie

[ quoted text not captured ] Card text isn't sufficient, however, since the (D) symbol is only a reminder. >If it makes it easier to understand, you are targeting your prey's pool, >burning the edge a result of your action. The action targets one's prey, yes. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. I'd say it would be fair for someone to assume that the card is a d-action versus the one controling the edge, and if successfull causes the edge to be burned and prey to lose 2/3 pool. IMHO not much on the card contradicts this, although I believe it's intended that you must posess the edge yourself, and make a d-action versus your prey. I therefore argues for that the card is clarified on the official site. Another question: If the action fails, the edge is not burned, right? But can another minion bleed later? /Henrik

[ quoted text not captured ] Also odd is that when your prey burns the 3 pool, it doesn't say on the card that it has to be 3 of **their** own pool. I see a great strategy coming along here. Player A burns player C's edge to complete an Enticement action. Player B, burns the required 3 pool from player A's blood pool. I'm gonna build this deck and play it in the National Chumpionships. :) -Robert
