Card text: "(D) Enter combat with a ready minion controlled by another Methuselah. This acting vampire has +X strength and +X capacity. Before the combat begins, each chosen vampire must move 1 blood to the acting vampire or this action is canceled." Do all the effects in this text rely on the action not being blocked (ie being successful)? If so, it's not nearly as useful as I would have hoped. :-) Still great if you can get the action through, but at no stealth, it's liable to be just another Bum's Rush with no special effects. At least you don't have to spend the 1 blood per vampire if you get blocked (right?). thanks, Josh disgusted entity (by the picture! not the text. ;-)

True for any action. > useful as I would have hoped. :-) Still great if you can > get the action through, but at no stealth, it's liable to be > just another Bum's Rush with no special effects. If so, it's not nearly as I would expect so, yeah. >useful as I would have hoped. :-) Still great if you can >get the action through, but at no stealth, it's liable to be >just another Bum's Rush with no special effects. At least >you don't have to spend the 1 blood per vampire if you get >blocked (right?). Right. I would personally play this card in conjunction with Dawn Operation. That way, you either get them with the +X oomph, or the agg damage. And conveniently, you can have prevent cards in your deck and shrug off your OWN agg in the resulting combat. BEST situation would be with a TS/IG/US/SoS in hand, and play this card with a Dawn Op as "bait". "Fine, you block? OK, I hit you for... 5 agg, then, instead of 4 normal." =) -- Derek ...Vampire Squirrel has come to bite your nuts!
