Vast Wealth and Antonio Veradas

I haven't asked a weird rules question in awhile, so.. Antonio Veradas gets +1 stealth when equipping with a weapon. Vast Wealth lets the minion with it take a +1 stealth equip action to find a piece of equipment in the deck. If Antonio has Vast Wealth, and the only equipment in the library is weapons, would he get +1 additional stealth on the VW action? Or does the ambiguity of the situation mean that his special can't kick in even if you *know* it's going to be a weapon?

But just to be sure, would he get an additional +1 stealth on, say, Jack of Both Sides, since the target is already in-hand and declared as part of the action?

I would guess that if you knew that was the case, you would have to tell the other players at the table.
