to play cardinal sin: insubordination i need a ready priscus, cardinal, or archbishop. can a vampire that has just completed combat with another sabbat vampire play this card? or do i have to play it with a wake or another untapped vampired with the appropriate title? something similar: elder kindred network. i assume that i need a ready and untapped ventrue vampire to play this, correct? thanks pallando -- __________________________________________________ lt. cmdr. pallando of g.a.b. black ice team G.A.B. was started to fight Bad Traders. You could (since there are no restrictions that it must be played by another vampire), but they would need to be untapped, or under the influence of an untap-style ability (e.g. Wake). Were you to have been rushed, for example, you may well be untapped and able to use it. > or do i have to play it with a wake or another > untapped vampired with the appropriate title? Both perfectly possible. > something similar: elder kindred network. i assume that i need a ready and > untapped ventrue vampire to play this, correct? Yes, it does. Only ready vampires can play reaction cards, unless otherwise specified. It needs a Ventrue because it requires Ventrue. It also needs to be untapped *OR* awake (e.g. Wake etc.) -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "And all the while I'm thinking things that I can never share with him. I'm a bundle of confusion, yet it has a strange appeal. Did it all begin with him and the way he makes me feel?"

thanks for the answer. i suspected this. unfortunately this renders cardinal sin: insubordination nearly useless. pallando -- __________________________________________________ lt. cmdr. pallando of g.a.b. black ice team G.A.B. was started to fight Bad Traders. Not having a Wake to play the cards you want, or having all tapped vampires, is a Bad Thing (tm) however. For instance, this could be funny combat defence in a Derange/Sacrifice deck (which do exist). A few Wakes would not be a bad price to pay. [ quoted text not captured ]
