this is the only cards i see for burning someone. that and just taking a
diablerie action. That seems a bit shakey for a trophy deck as your
torporising tech seems to only be this and ivory bow, too. although
theft theft theft hands for 1 i guess is another way to torporise
someone. but i just don't think it's going to be reliable enough.
I was going to make a Absimiliard's Army/Blood of Sandman trophy deck.
See how that goes. (Someone somewhere will get an absimiliard's Ghoul.
make it redlist. burn it with Blood of Sandman, collect trophies).

You can only collect trophies after a (D) action that burns a RL minion,
or burning a RL in combat.
Due to the new (D) action rules, there _is_ one way that you can collect
a trophy on your own minion.
If you take an action that targets multiple Methuselahs, including yourself,
then it is considered a (D) action.
So if there's some action that targets multiple minions around the table,
and burns one of your own who is Red List, then I think you could
collect a trophy for it. (I can't think of an example right now, but
it might exist)
Otherwise, no.

And here's one way to do it!
Influence out Julius and Tobias.
Tobias plays Revelation of the Sire on Julius (which increases his cap too).
Also, play 4 skillcards on Julius.
Then, Tobias uses his action to make Julius a bishop.
Then, make Julius Red List (somehow; details aren't important)
Then, play Inquisition, targeting Julius and someone else's bishop (if there
are no other bishops, you may have to Mind Rape some Sabbat vamps and use
Tobias's ability; possibly Deranging someone first with the !Malk you surely
control).
Voila. Burning your own Red List minion as a D action, so you can collect
Trophies.
