1) Can you play Fata Morgana at superior even if you don't need the stealth? My guess is yes, since it's also +1 Bleed, but I'm not sure. 2) How does Flesh of Marble interact with other damage prevention cards? Do you first apply Skin of Marble and then prevent the remaining point of damage, or do you prevent damage first and then reduce whatever is left to one? How does is affect unpreventable damage (such as Blood Sweat)? For this one, I think you prevent first and then reduce whatever is left and unpreventable damage is unaffected. Correct? 3) Since Bleed is NRA, I suppose you can't bleed and the Force of Will. Correct? 4) Can you play reactions (bounce, mainly) wtih a Vampire waked with Forced Awakeing. FA says "this vampire tries to block" as opposed to WWEF, which states the vampire may block or play reaction cards as if unblocked. Are you forced to try to block after FA?

My guess is yes, since it's also +1 Bleed, but I'm not sure. Latest card text: Fata Morgana [DS:C2, FN:PR4] Cardtype: Action Modifier Cost: 1 blood Discipline: Chimerstry [chi] +1 stealth. [CHI] You cannot play another action modifier to further increase the bleed for this action. +1 bleed, or +1 bleed and +1 stealth. > 2) How does Flesh of Marble interact with other damage prevention cards? > Do you first apply Skin of Marble and then prevent the remaining point > of damage, or do you prevent damage first and then reduce whatever is > left to one? Flesh of Marble happens after all other damage prevention effects. In order to prevent that last point of damage, you need to prevent it *all* with other cards. Unpreventable damage is still unpreventable, and Flesh of Marble doesn't reduce it. > 3) Since Bleed is NRA, I suppose you can't bleed and the Force of Will. > Correct? FA doesn't say "this vampire tries to block". Latest card text: Forced Awakening [Sabbat:C, SW:C/PB2/PT5/PV2, FN:PA2/PS2, CE:PTr4] Cardtype: Reaction Only usable by a tapped vampire. This reacting vampire *can* attempt to block and play reaction cards as though untapped. If he or she does not successfully block this action, he or she burns an additional blood. (emphasis on "can" is mine) You can play Forced Awakening + Deflection, but you'll just have to burn a blood. This message brought to you by the letter 'F'. http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Cardlist_F.html

You can, but you don't get the +1 stealth. (Card text) > 2) How does Flesh of Marble interact with other damage prevention cards? How does is affect unpreventable damage (such as Blood Sweat)? For this one, I think you prevent first and then reduce whatever is left and unpreventable damage is unaffected. Correct? Once you have taken a point of damage, FoM prevents the rest of the damage that it can. FoM does _not_ kick in until you have taken a point of damage, so there's no way to prevent that 'last point' with FoM; either you will take that point, or you'll have to prevent everything anyway. Eg, a Depraved Stanislava hits you with a Lucky Blow for 3. With FoM, you'll take one point and then prevent two; if you played superior Skin of Rock, you could prevent two damage, but you'd still end up taking one -- the FoM would have no effect at that point. In regards to unpreventable: FoM doesn't prevent it (of course), but it can count as that first point. > 3) Since Bleed is NRA, I suppose you can't bleed and the Force of Will. Correct? Correct. > 4) Can you play reactions (bounce, mainly) wtih a Vampire waked with Forced Awakeing. FA says "this vampire tries to block" as opposed to WWEF, which states the vampire may block or play reaction cards as if unblocked. Are you forced to try to block after FA? Forced Awakening says you _can_ attempt to block (it's the can that's important), and if you fail you pay a blood. So a vampire can FA and deflect, for a cost of two (1 for FAing and not blocking, 1 for deflection). Contrast to 2nd tradition or guard duty, which do not have the 'can' text. --Colin McGuigan

Correct. So you can play it at superior for +1 bleed. You cannot play it (or any other modifier) to gain steath when you do not need stealth. >>2) How does Flesh of Marble interact with other damage prevention cards? >>Do you first apply Skin of Marble and then prevent the remaining point >>of damage, or do you prevent damage first and then reduce whatever is >>left to one? Correct. >>3) Since Bleed is NRA, I suppose you can't bleed and the Force of Will. >>Correct? > > Since Bleed is NRA, you can't bleed and then bleed. Correct. Correct. Since the rules say that a minion cannot bleed twice in the same turn, the minion cannot use Force of Will to bleed after bleeding already in the current turn. >>4) Can you play reactions (bounce, mainly) wtih a Vampire waked with Forced >>Awakeing. If the card text had not changed, then the answer would be no, you could not play it since you are prohibited from gaining stealth without need. M.
