One of the new cards (very paraphrased):
Elder Impersonation - Action Modifier - Obfuscate - 1 blood
Inferior: +1 stealth
Superior: The current blocking minion is untapped and cannot block this
action. ~~~~~~~~
So WHAT if the vampire is untapped!
Vampires only tap if they successfully block.
Am I missing something? Right now, it seems like a mistake, only really
doing anything in conjunction with Faceless night (and not likely a side
effect that was wanted) or Wake With Evening's Freshness.
Tom, perhaps you can help us out on what this card intended.

The actual wording of superior Elder Impersonation says "... That minion's
blocking attempt fails; untap that minion." So, yes, this will untap
a minion that had Woken up or something.

Hopefully, an errata wil soon be out which states "minion does not tap"
vice "untap that minion". It is a great and necessary card for getting
around people that tap everything out and count on that WWEF. They
*should* be punished and this card appears to be the punisher. We don't
need to make WWEF stronger now, do we? ;) Anyway, I'm going to strongly
recommend to my group that it does not untap WWEF and play it that way
regardless.

Doesn't this strike you as making elder impersonation a little powerful.
For only 1 blood, a vampire cannot block the action _after_ it has wasted
cards trying to do so.
I'm still trying to find middle ground here. The "bite" on Elder
Impersonation appears to be that if you attempt to block (which Elder
Impersonation automatically fails) you untap. Since you do not tap when
failing to block, this cards "bite" only comes out if someone Wakes with
Evening Freshness or if you already used Faceless Night. To me, this
seems intuitively wrong. Perhaps if minions reacting untapped afterwords
(a la inferior Deflection etc), it would have the necessary bite...

Well, much of the discussion about this card has been to the effect that
if a block fails, a minion does not "tap". In other words, that the card
text would do no more than echo the rule. Typically such card text is
there to override something...
I'm all for an errata to just drop the "tapping" clause altogether...
