The stolen blood is moved from the opponent to him when it resolves, before the "heal/prevent damage" phase. He can use the stolen blood to heal damage or to pay for cards that prevent the damage (like Skin of Steel). > In the second case, if the opposing minion burns all his blood (e.g., to deal > aggravated damage) [does my vampire] get the blood? If the opposing minion burned all of his blood before strike resolution (e.g., by paying the cost of a strike card or a strike modifier - like Burning Wrath or Claws of the Dead), then your minion gets no blood. > The other day i heard the stealing of blood was instantaneous but you can use > it to prevent the damage dealt by the opposing minion. Is it true? It is not "instantaneous" in that the effects of the strike don't occur until strike resolution. But the effects of the strike do occur before the "heal/prevent damage" phase. See the revised rulebook (link in my .sig below) for more detailed explanations. > Pd: sorry for my english. Don't apologize - better your English than my Spanish. :-) I've taken the liberty of correcting the grammar in your post. Where I wasn't completely sure of the meaning, I put my assumed meaning in [brackets]. If my translation is incorrect, please let me know. -- L. As a strike he steals 2 blood and the opponent deals 3 hand damage. How much blood does he has at the end of combat? 5 or 7? (assuming combat at close range and no presses). (i personnaly think he has 7).

It's 5. Blood Theft is handled before damage, with any excess blood over capacity draining away. In short, draining blood when you're at full capacity doesn't get you any blood. -- /\ Jasper Phillips /VVVVVVVVVVVVVV|~"~"~"~"~"~"----------........____ jaz j^^^^^^^^^^^^^\/"~"~"~"~-----------........._____ ~"~--. * http://www.engr.orst.edu/~philljas/ "~"~'--`

Blood in excess of capacity drains off immediately, as usual. See the rulebook, section 6.4.5. [ quoted text not captured ]
