common action that requires a Follower of Set. text:
+1 stealth action.
Put this card in play. Only one spell of Life may be played each turn.
You may burn five Spells of Life to put up to five vampires from your
uncontrolled region in play. Each represents a unique mummy ally with
life equal to capacity, 1 bleed and 2 strength who can enter combat
with a minion as a (D) action.
we think that all of the following are true. if not, please tell us.
1. each vampire card's capacity is used for cards that use the term
"starting" life or amount, such as vagabond mystic.
2. the mummies have no recruitment cost, aka a recruitment cost = 0.
(this was already stated in another thread.)
3. the vampires that are representing these unique mummy allies must
all be different vampire cards, different from each other, and
different from any vampires in play, or they contest. if i have 3
uncontrolled vampire cards when i burn my 5 spells of life, hesha and
2 copies of ormonde, and my controlled vampires are hesha and hadrian
and nepata, i can effectively only bring out 1 copy of the ormonde
card as a mummy ally.
4. the rule against self-contestation applies to the example above.
again with the seemingly obvious,

Correct.

And it is still correct.

They must all be different from each other and they must each be different from
any *unique* vampires in play, or they contest, yes.
But the unique mummy ally made from an Aabbt Kindred, for example, won't contest
a non-unique vampire Aabbt Kindred in play.

Correct.

Correct.
