Is there an opportunity to tap the heidelberg castle after a minion has successfully blocked, but before the ensuing combat? (to switch the intercept provider to another minion) Is it legitimate to contest a card with oneself for a turn then concede it, just to cycle a card? Thanks...

If you use HC to move a Sport Bike away from the blocking minion and that reduction in intercept leaves him with less intercept than the acting minion's stealth, the block will fail. > Is it legitimate to contest a card with oneself for a turn then concede it, > just to cycle a card? You can contest a card with yourself, but you'll contest it for longer than you think, and it'll cost you a pool: 1. Put second copy into play - contest. 2. Next untap, pay one pool for the copy you wish to keep, yield the other. 3. On your following untap, you get control of the unyielded copy. -- L.
