I have some questions regarding torpor. 1) Does a vampire entering torpor always get tapped or does it depend on its state before having all its blood removed? 2) Does a vampire in torpor untap at the start of your turn? 3) Does a torporous vampire rescuing itself have to tap and take an action or does it just spend the 2 blood. 4) If another vampire rescues a torporous vampire and uses the torporous vampire's blood, do both vampires tap? 5) When a vampire is rescued (either way), does it enter the active region immediately? Or does that happen during Influence? Untap Phase or when? 6) If a vamp is untapped, but in torpor and it's rescued by another with that second vamps' blood, does it have the right to hunt immediately or does a circumstance of #5 affect that? As you can see, I know how a vampire can be sent to torpor, but I'm unclear on how it comes out. Thanks, Badger

Only the vampire doing the rescue attempt : 5) When a vampire is rescued (either way), does it enter the active : region immediately? Or does that happen during Influence? Untap Phase : or when? You take the action during your minion phase so if the vampire is untapped you can immediately take an action with him/her. : 6) If a vamp is untapped, but in torpor and it's rescued by another with : that second vamps' blood, does it have the right to hunt immediately or : does a circumstance of #5 affect that? I think if at any time you are at 0 blood then the only action that the vampire can perform is a hunt (it also has to be the first action. No restorations). Jeff

Its state (tapped or untapped) doesn't change. Only two things* tap minions: 1) Taking an action 2) Blocking (successfully). Only one thing* untaps a minion: 1) The start of the untap phase * And, as always, as specified on card text. Going to torpor is none of these, so the state is unaffected. > 2) Does a vampire in torpor untap at the start of your turn? Yes. > 3) Does a torporous vampire rescuing itself have to tap and take an > action or does it just spend the 2 blood. "Leave Torpor" is an action. The vampire leaving torpor must tap to take the action. > 4) If another vampire rescues a torporous vampire and uses the torporous > vampire's blood, do both vampires tap? Only the one taking the action taps, regardless of who pays the cost. > 5) When a vampire is rescued (either way), does it enter the active > region immediately? Or does that happen during Influence? It is returned to the active region when the "rescue" or "leave torpor" action resolves (successfully). > 6) If a vamp is untapped, but in torpor and it's rescued by another with > that second vamps' blood, does it have the right to hunt immediately or > does a circumstance of #5 affect that? It is free to tap to take an action. Note: if it is empty, then it *must* hunt (unless some other effect prevents it from hunting, in which case it can do nothing). -- L.
