A Handful of Questions

I just had a menagerie of questions about some various cards and particular solutions. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could answer them. Thanks! #1. For vampires with + stealth (Jost, Muaziz, and Rebecca), is this only applied at the beginning or continuous? If Jost bleeds at +1 stealth and then someone plays a Veiled Sight does he go to +0 stealth or does his ability up it back to +1? #2. In the new Rulebook, it says (pg. 53) "Additionally, clan justicar titles can only be given to a vampire of the appropriate clan." So does that vampire have to continue to be that clan to retain the title (I thought previous rulings were that you had to remain the clan). So if Anneke Clan Impersonates to clan Ventrue, is she still a Justicar? In addition, is she considered "Toreador Justicar" or just "Justicar?" Just double-checking. #3. Just to double-check (again), all the Camarilla titles ('cept maybe Justicar) are based on Sect allegiance, not clan, right? If Arika with a Writ of Acceptance is Deranged (she is now !Malk but Camarilla), she still has her 4 votes, right? #4. For superior Blessing of Chaos, when it says actions requiring those disciplines does this apply to the first time they're played or not? For example, you clearly can't initially play a Derange card on a Blessed vampire since it requires Dementation. But how about later when you use the Derange card's text to move it? You don't need to have Dementation to perform this action. But Derange is still a Dementation card. So? #5. I know that for cards that "can be played once per game," if it is Sudden Reversed or Direct Interventioned, it counts as being played. How about if it is blocked? Or a vote is Delaying Tactics'ed? (How do you like my creation of new verbs?) #6. What happens if you use Vast Wealth but don't find any equipment. Nothing I suppose? And can you use Vast Wealth if you KNOW you have no equipment left? Like if you just want to reshuffle. #7. Is Shadow Strike ("Strength ranged damage, with an optional maneuver ") considered a "Strike" (for purposes of Thoughts Betrayed for example)? Thanks! Halcyan 2

The rulebook addresses this as well, on page 52: "If a vampire with a title changes clans or sects to a clan or sect inappropriate for his title, he loses the benefit of the title." So Anneke loses the benefit of the "Toreador Justicar" title for as long as she is not Toreador. > #3. The action to move derange doesn't require Demenation (otherwise most victims would be unable to move it). So it is free to target a Blessed vampire. > #5. One eg, I think if you get Lextalionis'ed [ ;-) ] and play Delaying Tactics, they're screwed and can't play the vote again.

But she is free to take the PA again later, should the conditions of the referendum be met again. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ]
