Timing for Ilomba's effects (LSJ)

Who gets to decide the timings for damage done in combat that involve a minion with Ilomba? 1) Simultaneous damage from a single source - The acting minion, Minion A (1 blood left and with Ilomba), enters combat with Minion B (with [tha]). Minion B plays basic Weather Control before range is determined. Does A burn (takes 1 damage from Weather Control and burns from Ilomba card text) or or go into torpor (burns 1 blood from Ilomba card text and then takes 1 damage from Weather Control)? Would the scenario be different if Minion A is not the acting minion? 2) Damage from different sources - The acting minion, Minion A (2 blood left and with Ilomba), enters combat with Minion B (with [ANI]). Minion B plays sup. Carrion Crows before range is determined, then moves to long with sup. Aid from Bats. B chooses to target the Ilomba with the 1R damage from the aid from Bats. Does A burn (takes 2 damage from Carrion Crows and burns from Ilomba card text) or or go into torpor (burns 1 blood from Ilomba card text and then takes 2 damage from Carrion Crows)? Would the scenario be different if Minion A is not the acting minion? One other slightly different question: Minion A in scenario 2 above gets to play an Armor of Vitality and prevent the damage from the Carrion Crows before damage is applied, thus remains ready at 0 blood (pay 1 for Armor of Vitality and loses 1 to Ilomba card text). Is this the correct interpretation? Ilomba Cardtype: Retainer Animal with 1 life. Requires a Laibon. Put Ilomba on any minion (this is a +1 stealth (D) action if that minion is controlled by another Methuselah). If Ilomba would burn a life (or would otherwise be burned), this minion burns a blood or life instead. If he or she cannot, he or she is burned. A minion may have only one Ilomba. Weather Control Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Thaumaturgy Only usable before range is determined on the first round. [tha] Both combatants and each of their retainers take 1 unpreventable damage before range is determined each round. A vampire may play only one Weather Control each combat. [THA] As above, but the amount of damage inflicted increases by 1 in each subsequent round. Aid from Bats Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Animalism [ani] Strike: 1R damage, with an optional maneuver. [ANI] As above, with an optional press. Carrion Crows Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Animalism Only usable before range is chosen. [ani] The opposing minion takes 1R damage each round of combat during strike resolution. A vampire can play only one Carrion Crows each combat. [ANI] As above, but for 2R damage. Armor of Vitality Cardtype: Combat Cost: 1 blood Discipline: Fortitude [for] Prevent 3 damage. [FOR] As above, and if any of the damage was from the opposing minion's melee weapon, that weapon is destroyed.

Minion A can burn a blood or life for the damage done to Ilomba first or may burn a blood or life for the damage done to xerself first. > 2) Damage from different sources - The acting minion, Minion A (2 > blood left and with Ilomba), enters combat with Minion B (with [ANI]). > Minion B plays sup. Would the scenario be different if Minion A is > not the acting minion? This is the same scenario as 1: it doesn't matter how many sources are involved. When dealing simultaneous damage, the damage is lumped altogether. > One other slightly different question: > Minion A in scenario 2 above gets to play an Armor of Vitality and > prevent the damage from the Carrion Crows before damage is applied, > thus remains ready at 0 blood (pay 1 for Armor of Vitality and loses 1 > to Ilomba card text). Is this the correct interpretation? Yes. That is the only interpretation available, as far as I can tell. [ quoted text not captured ]
