And Eliza of Clan Tremere, our friendly exemplars in the new, not-to-be-
posted-to-rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad rulebook; are they:
New vampires to be released in VTES? This would tend to contradict what
we've heard, that VTES is just a clean-up of Jyhad.
Names made up for the sake of example? This would be odd, considering the
old rulebook used actual Jyhad vampires as examples.

Well, the original book may have used actual vampires, but I've yet to
find that happy fun ring that confers first strike...

They are names made up for the sake of example. I don't know why they
changed to using vampires that don't appear on cards in the examples;
probably it was for no particular reason. Also, VTES does delete a few
cards, and replace them with a handful that didn't appear in Jyhad.

Are you authorized to say which cards will be deleted?
Any hints to what is being added?
Is this covered in the files that accompanied the complete rulebook?
Where can I find a Complete copy of the V:TES Rulebook (with your
additions of errata and the Jyhad/V:TES differences)?
Sorry about the interrogation, I would greatly appreciate it if you could
answer my few questions. I'll understand if the first 2 are unanswerable
at this time. Thank you ahead of time

Except for the early release of the Chronicles list, which was intended to
protect consumers against a leak, the Wizards have never said what's in or
out of any of their TCGs before the rest of the world knows. Speculation
is a Bad Thing, you know.

Just to make it clear, Neil probably meant that _card_ speculation as an
investment was a bad thing, not speculation = wondering. :-)

WotC probably won't comment on this until the actual release, but i can make a
guess: becase VtES doesn't have paralyze they're going to remove Rowan Ring and
the Stake and replace them with some other disciplinless equipment. They may
also remove cards that aren't used that often (Society of Leopold, etc...)

they were posted to this group and rec.games.trading-cards.announce last week.

The rotation list is included in the Jyhad->VTES article in Duelist #7.
>Is this covered in the files that accompanied the complete rulebook?
It's not in there currently. I'll probably wind up adding it to the FAQ.

Ideally on the ftp site, which currently is on mox.perl.com, but will
ultimately be inhouse. I don't think it's there, though.
