You must play it before 5, and cannot play it before 4. > that way my vamp is at 6 cap and 6 blood Right. Carpe noctem. Lasombra http://www.TheLasombra.com ----------- Draught of the Soul [BL] Cardtype: Action Modifier/Combat Discipline: Auspex & Quietus Only usable when this acting vampire burns another vampire. [qui] This vampire gains 1 blood. [aus][qui] This vampire gains 1 blood. Put this card on this vampire. The vampire with this card has +1 intercept. [AUS][QUI] As [aus][qui] above, and this vampire gets +1 bleed when bleeding the controller of the burned vampire. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes, yes it would. Reversal/Update: Diablerie is atomic - you cannot play effects within it. Play Draught of the Soul after 5. [ quoted text not captured ]

Atomic? Elaborate? So you can only play DotS after you've survived the blood hunt? How odd. How is this more in line with, say, Reform Body? Elaborate? The diablerie is indivisible. You can't/don't do part of it and then do some other effect before moving on to the rest of it. > So you can only play DotS after you've survived the blood hunt? How odd. Yes. I'd prefer that the Blood Hunt weren't wrapped up with the rest of the package, but the "atomic" ruling wouldn't support separating off just the last step. > How is this more in line with, say, Reform Body? The victim doesn't play Reform Body at step 3 (after losing all his equipment and blood). He plays it before step 1. [ quoted text not captured ]
