If your playing against some combat deck, with Malkavians, play a Thoughts Betrayed and this card and like an Ivory Bow, and there's not much your opponent's vampire can do. Joseph

However, if "Concealed Weapon" were a combat modifier only usable at the beginning of a round before range is chosen (and didn't require obfuscate or any discipline for that matter) it would then serve a purpose in somebodys deck. -- Bernie

Because even Kine can *conceal* a small weapon on his person. Because you don't need any special skill to conceal a weapon. (Which is another reason for the restriction on the type of weapon concealed - the restriction on damage and cost is an attempt at limiting the size of the weapon concealed - you can conceal a dagger or pistol, but not a flame thrower or RPG) -- L. I hope that the vampires would be clever enough to figure out how to wear a shoulder holster or at least keep that Saturday Night Special in their pocket. What's the point of wearing those long black coats if they can't even figure out a way to hide a Bastard Sword under one? Even Duncan McLeod is hip to that trick and he isn't nearly as old.
