I am curious why Wasserschloss Anif, Austria was errata'd to say that only one Tremere may move a blood during your master phase? I have looked at the archives and could not find anything other than LSJ's response to questions about Wasserschloss Anif, Austria but no reasoning as to why the errata was nessasary in the first place. How is it different from the Assamite card Heartblood of the clan? Heartblood requires an action and cost one pool, where as Wasserschloss Anif, Austria doesn't require an action, costs 2 pool and is transient from a built in mechansm. They seem to be fairly balanced in effect. So why is there errata on Wasserschloss Anif, Austria but not Heartblood of the Clan? I am sure no one meant to wallpaper the card, but it seems to me that is exactly what the errata did. Comments Welcome, Norman S. How is it It's not errata - it's a function of card text and the ruling regarding the meaning of the template "during phase X, {you may} do Y". During your master phase, you may move 1 blood from any Tremere you control to this card. Since you can do that only once (by the template), only one Tremere will end up being involved. See the use of that template on some Powerbases for an example of why it is ruled to mean once per phase. > different from the Assamite card Heartblood of the clan? Heartblood Heartblood doesn't say "During your minion phase, you may move 1 blood..." Note: you can only move one blood per action to the Heartblood. > requires an action and cost one pool, where as Wasserschloss Anif, > Austria doesn't require an action, costs 2 pool and is transient from a > built in mechansm.
