hi ! i just want to know more about soul stealing =) Gaspare (POT, nec, cel, +1 hand damage) is blocked by vampire lambda. During combat, Gaspare plays Torn Signpost, IG, sends the vampire in torpor. He plays decapitate to bur it instead. once combat ends, can Gaspare play the inferior version of soulstealing to gain blood back ? if the answer is no, then what ar actually the cases where a vamp with inf necromancy can play Soul Stealing : Dablerie, Sacrificial lamb, Dismemberment of Osiris ? thanks for tha answer =) reyda

At Inferior it can only be played as an action modifier, as with the actions you suggest. If it had been played at Superior then Gaspare could have gained the blood from the burned vampire (if naturally Gaspare would have NEC instead of simply nec). No. He'd have to use it in superior (as a combat card), which he can't do since he doesn't meet ther requirements. > if the answer is no, then what ar actually the cases where a vamp with inf > necromancy can play Soul Stealing : > Dablerie, Sacrificial lamb, Dismemberment of Osiris ? Any burn-as-action will work, yes. If he plays an action modifier or invokes some special ability granted by a card in play to burn him during the action (outside of combat), that would work as well. George Frederick playing Kiss of Ra on Julius would suffice, for example. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
