Scott In "MOre questions 2" did you say Pulled Fangs was unpreventible unless it was played during strike resolution (I think that is what you were saying, the wording was a little funny)? But if that was what you said, would not the lasting effects of Flesh of Marble stop the damage. If so would Pulled Fangs other effects be negated. I only have the jyhad version of both so the wording on the v:tes cards may be different. Second, would you still go into combat after Cat's Guidance has been played (while you were untaped), or would the immediate untaping stop the combat. I was thinking the latter was true. Thanks in advance for your answers ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conor S. Key I've seen things that you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched sea beams glitter in the dark near the ten-houser gates. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.... Time to die. <Blade Runner>

I should've said that it was unpreventable by damage prevention cards (since you cannot play such cards at any time other than strike resolution). Yes, Flesh of Marble (and Flak Jackets, etc.) can be used to prevent the damage from Pulled Fangs. But the rest of the Fangs effect will still take effect. (Cards texts are functionally the same in these cases). >Second, would you still go into combat after Cat's Guidance has been >played (while you were untaped), or would the immediate untaping stop >the combat. I was thinking the latter was true. The former. Combat while untapped is not unusual. -- L.
