Will make all assamite decks which now included any wakes much better. Nothing earth-shattering though. The next two: Baali with PRE DAM obf dom(?) and an protean action card. /henrik isaksson

At the Chicago National Qualifier I attended this summer, the starter-only vamps from Final Nights and Sabbat War were given away as promos. I thought that was a terrific gesture of goodwill from Whitewolf. I hope the people in charge of promotion over there continue in that vein, because it's certainly a great way to get me to tournaments. I'd cross a state line for a set of Camarilla Edition starter vamps.

How do you find this on the white-wolf website without entering the link directly?

David Wilson, Mask of a Thousand Names

I have not yet found it yet. Despite several attempts. I miss the old vtes site, it was so much more intuitive. I know that I can still access it, but not for much longer, David

[ quoted text not captured ] Yet another reason why the new WW homepage is extra-useless for V:tES. It's really absurd that their 'VTES Home Page' has more (and more prominent) news articles about Requiem, Exalted and dice than it does about the product line the page is supposedly the official home page for. The old site may have had some functional and/or asthetic problems, but at least all of the information about the game was readily findable, did not require much in the way of guesswork, and generally free of content completely unrelated to the game. LSJ, could you let us know to whom comments (or complaints) about the website should be directed to at WW? Might be worth considering sending some sort of mass petition asking them to make the V:tES page more effective for their player base. For instance, it'd be nice if the new pages contained links to the content of the old pages without having to actually GO to the old home page; there's more than a few previously-accessible (and still desirable) pages that apparently cannot be accessed any other way. -John Flournoy

The old WW site was much easier to navigate than this one. At the very least we need a better VTES page than we have now. -- Colin "Eryx" Goodman Cambridge UK http://www.geocities.com/eryx_uk/Cambridge_by_night.html

We know the current VTES site is..uhm...sub-optimal at the moment. It's in the queue for a complete overhaul starting later this month. Steve WW

You may return to your other duties without a beating. :p One more question, though. If "1 vote" and "2 votes" are Titles, why aren't they in BOLD like the other ones? Wouldn't that confuse people less?

They aren't named titles. (bold is written *bold*, not BOLD, btw. Caps are for shouting, not mere emphasis :-). "Independent 1 vote: +1 strength" doesn't seem too titley. > Wouldn't that confuse people > less? Doubtful. It seems equally clear either way, if not clearer this way. [ quoted text not captured ]
