Lunatic Eruption and Temptation (or any control change effect)

So I have Tempted several vampires with Lunatic Eruptions on them. If I burn the counters to take control of the Tempted vampires during my minion phase after I've taking lots of non-mandatory actions, are they required to enter combat with my prey's minions immediately or has that mandatory action requirement passed?
