Reading a bit about the flood in Atlanta right now. I hope everyone is
ok over there.
Is the area for the event affected as well, or can I tell my better
half not to worry?

My part of town is about 25 miles away, and while I've had rain there
hasn't been anything damaging or destroyed.
David Tatu will be down there this week to finalize room setup with
the hotel staff. There aren't a lot of trees or things to blow into
the hotel building to damage it, I don't expect any problems.

Hey Jeff-
What about for those of us driving in from the north? Any highway
issues?

None of the impacted highways should inconvenience anyone coming from
the North.
I-75 and I-85 were both clear for normal traffic today.
Be prepared for "normal" Atlanta traffic on your way in, i.e. 7 lanes
bumper to bumper during rush hours, i.e. 6-10 am and 2-7 pm.
