gencon and qualifier questions

1. Why are the two US championship events at gencon scheduled for Friday and Saturday instead of Saturday and Sunday which was the way it was done in the past? 2. Is the constructed portion of the championship considered a qualifer for the NAC? 3. What qualifiers are there between now and the NAC? Thanks!

Thanks. One last question -- the "scattershot" event was listed as being on Saturday, the "19th" but the 19th is Sunday (and the second US nationals are on saturday). So, I assume it's really supposed to be on Sunday?

Qualifier for the North American Continental Championship. 3R+F, and results used in crowning the US champion. Total GWs from both I and II (including the finals) determine the champion. Ties broken by using the just GWs from the two finals, then by total VPs, then by final VPs.
