This is not exciting to me. Lot's of BB tech requires
untapped vamps of same circle. With Torrance Circle, that's
expensive to leave one of your vamps untapped.

I think you just make sure the uncontrolled infernal vampire is
younger than the chosen Baali.

Just choose him.
Baali _like_ to be chosen.

Nice powerful options for the (twice) damned.
If Evil Eye can be played as a reaction w/o tapping the reacting
vampire, there's no reason why you wouldn't want to keep an infernal
hanging around canceling action cards left-right-centre. And he
doesn't need to untap as well.
Shatter the Gates would attract aggro from everyone like no other,
probably more so than Smiling Jack.
Tend the Flock would see some usage if you're adding non-Baali
Infernals to your Baali crypt, otherwise Grooming the Protege (with
its non-requirement of untapped vampire) is as competitive. Which
leads me to suspect more non-Baali Infernals.
[ quoted text not captured ]
These were cut and pasted out of a private chat word for word. I
notice the author took some liberties to shorten and abreviate
somethings so it is possible some line of text were lost in the
shuffle. but yeah evil eye would be gross. and you dont need to keep
an infernal untapped per sey if you are rocking a concordance, Rutor's
hand or both.
Gerentt <geren...@gmail.com> writes:

Nope, Tend the Flock is way superior anyway. It moves the blood from the
blood bank, Grooming the Protege moves it from the older vampire.

Seems quite good even for Torrance. i can't tell what kind of card it
is.

Just requires playing skill cards on infernal vampires.

You are missing the 1 pool you had to pay to keep your infernal

It would be a decent card (still cornercase), if it would require only
quietus. Up to date, 5 vampires can use it's superior. On top of it,
it cost 1 blood. Another wallpaper for quietus. Another quietus plus

Yay ! GD finally find out that African Salubri are healers, not
warriors ! Better later than never. Thanks.

Kinda, yeah.
Is there a reason you didn't just compile these into a text file and
post them in bigger batches, instead of thirty-some separate messages?

Or bug LSJ to update the .txt on the site. He appreciates people
doing that. A lot.

I have to wonder why you didn't put like 3-4 or even 10
cards in each post?

Are you telling us how to do spoilers of better quality?
One would be led to think you actually agree with spoilers and only
gave a negative opinion out of institutional reasons... :D

Holy crap. Where--when--how--did LSJ gave a negative opinion of
spoilers? Really. Find somewhere. Please. This is clearly making me
insane.
The only place where there was discussion of spoilers being something
remotely negative came specifically with an explanation, from LSJ,
about the reasoning behind it (i.e. if you have spoilers from opening
cards early, you probably shouldn't post them 'cause they might get
someone in trouble).
There is no "policy" of White Wolf's that is opposed to spoilers. No
where did LSJ say "spoilers are bad for us!". He specifically said "if
you have spoilers from a legitimate source, that aren't from cards
opened early, feel free to post them". White Wolf posted spoilers in
december. Agggh.

Reasons it is good.
You put it on weapons that are already in play .
You can reduce it with the path of blood.
You can combine it with Forger's Hammer.
It stacks

Temporis is strong!
Almost all Unique items are rare, how many are you going to actually
put in a deck?
Quicksilver Contemplation anyone?

Well, except "an equipment can have only one Blood
Tempering" clause.

See the other thread on "Summon History" for why it's not so weak.

And reasons why it seems bad.
You HAVE to put it on weapons that are already in play which means
it's useless before equipping. Another bad card to an already weak
mechanic, (except for WWS, and this is not good with WWS either)
To reduce it you NEED to have the Path of Blood in play.
To combine it with Forger's Hammer, you need to include FH in your
deck.
I mean too much setup, and too many cards needed to make it work.
Don't get me wrong, great cards every expansion we have. I just don't
understand why Quietus always gets very bad cards. I guess someone
really hates Quietus.
because I was typing them as I found them on ebay (looking at the
picture and typing down the text) and wanted all to have them as fast
as possible. If I was the reader in this case I would love to get
spoilers right away and not ...when I have the time tomorrow at XX
hours.
as this group doesn't count posts and there is no post hierarchy it is
irelevant if I did it in two messages or two hundred. If it had
editing capabilites I would have edited one post to expand it. With
attitude such as yours I shouldn't have bothered at all.
[ quoted text not captured ]
What setup? Get an equipment out, then put this on it (and possibly
untap). That's 2 cards minimum to make it "work."
Doubling a Flak Jacket's protection without paying more pool is pretty
hot. Putting it on Blood Shield is totally amazing (prevent 2 every
round).
Melee weapons aren't so great to begin with, true, but consider this.
the smallest vampire who can play the card is Janni, who happens to
get +1 damage with her weapons all the time. that could be a little
combo right there. Fatima and Jack Dawson also have special text about
weapons, and they can play Blood Tempering.
Thanks, out-of-clan quietus, you finally have a use.
[ quoted text not captured ]
Both of those decks are better using Assault Riffle or AK-47. Have you
SEEN successful melee weapon deck (not !salubri) ? Also, but vampires
would play this at inferior, so they are better to play another kevlar
vest/flak jacket instead (less situational, work without another flack
jacket in play - sure cost pool).
So yes, this card sucks hard, as even minions with those disciplines
are better using generic equipment card instead. Sorry.

Are you aware (maybe not, given that you also didn't quote context in
your heated reply, so I can't even tell if it's my "attitude" or LSJ's
you're responding to) that some folks don't use a threaded newsreader,
and thus receive each post as its own individual message? Some folks
even get it in their email inboxes. That's 22 separate emails from
you.
This doesn't exist on googlegroups alone. It's a Usenet group.
That's why general netiquette applies.
I do appreciate the effort to post cards and track them down on Ebay.
It would have been *no more work* to paste them into a single reply
rather than 22, or however many it was, and post that. Or, if you
needed breaks or whatever (I'm not checking your timestamps here), to
post 4 messages that were each 5 times as long, rather than 40
individual messages. The fact that Googlegroups wouldn't let you
should have been a clue that what you were doing maybe wasn't the most
considerate way of doing it.
