1- I have a vampire with a Soul Gem of Etrius on him. My prey take
control of it with a Temptation/Mind Rape until the end of his turn.
The vampire burns during the turn that my prey controls it. What
happens ?
2- If I take a Recruit Ally action with a Giovanni and the Ally I'm
recruiting requires Necromancy, is it considered a Necromancy action
for the Tower of London ?
3- Shock Troops. Can I only play the Master Disciplines cards that I
have in my hand at the moment I'm playing the ST or can I put a MD in
play, then draw another to replace it and play it, etc so if I have 15
in a row in my deck I can put 15 in play ?
Do I replace the Shock Troops before putting Master
Disciplines in play ?
Thanks,
Remy

Rulebook section 1.6.3 says, among other things:
"By default, a minion card in play is controlled by the controller of the
minion it is on. If a minion card is just in play and not on another
controlled card, then it is, by default, controlled by the Methuselah who
played it."
Taking control of the Soul Gemmed vampire gives you control of the Soul
Gem itself, so you would invoke the Gem's effect if the vampire
burns while you control it, drawing from your crypt and following the
directions.
>2- If I take a Recruit Ally action with a Giovanni and the Ally I'm

Yes.
Shambling Hordes is a (Recruit Ally) 'action which requires Necromancy,'
which satisfies Tower of London's text.
Ditto with equipment (Baleful Doll) or retainers (Masquer). This
also affects Dartmoor, England, which gives +1 stealth on actions
requiring Animalism (which covers Raven Spies) or Protean (Homunculus).

You choose the master: discipline cards affected by Shock Troops from what's
in your hand at the time you play Shock Troops (that is, before Shock Troops
is replaced). This means the maximum number of Troops you can put into
play is (hand size-1), since 1 slot is taken up by Shock Troops itself.
The mechanic is just like Disguised Weapon: You must choose a weapon
in your hand at the time Disguised Weapon is played -- you can't play it
if you have no weapons in hand, and if you draw a weapon to replace the
Disguised Weapon, it cannot be chosen. There's a slight difference with
Shock Troops, since you can play it with X=0 just to get it out of your
hand.
>Do I replace the Shock Troops before putting Master
>Disciplines in play ?
Yes, but if you draw a Master: Discipline, it isn't eligible for Shock
Trooping (since you've already chosen the Shock Troop targets by then).

And another question on that; the card reads: "When an action requiring
Necromancy is successful, tap this location to gain 1 pool."
Is that a conditional or an imperative? If I've got the Tower of London
out and someone plays Summon Soul across table, do I HAVE to tap the Tower?
(Perhaps I'm afraid of a Parity Shift, I dunno).
If it IS someone cross table, CAN I tap the Tower?
If so, I still get the pool, right?

The vampire burns. The Soul Gem kicks in. Your prey examines the top
card of her crypt and moves it to the uncontrolled region or ready
region as appropriate.

If the action requires necromancy, yes.

The former. The effects of cards are defined when played.

Possibly, but it doesn't matter either way.

Conditional. You are not compelled to tap the location.

Yes.

Yes.

But in a dire situation, is there anything to keep someone from making a
desperate attempt and announce one more discipline card than he/she has on the
slim hope that he/she draws a discipline card and no one notices? Similarly,
what if the players *knows* the next library card is a discipline. In that
case, it would be rather easy for the person to draw the card and make it look
like they've already had that card for a while...

Yes. Card text sepcifies that the M:D cards must be from your hand. You
cannot choose the one on the top of your library when you play ST.

I know that the card text and the rules specify that the M:D must be from your
hand, but if you're willing to take a risk (or know the next card is a
Discipline card), there's really no way to prevent you from cheating, is there?
(Not that *I* would of course...)

Another one:
If someome sudden my Shock Troops, do I also burn the discilpinecards I
intended to make vampires of?
Similar if someone blocks my Shadow court satyr?

No. The card is cancelled.

Blocks the recruit action, you mean? Same thing.

This seems contradicting to other rules IMHO. When a card is played, all
terms of the card should be stated before the oppurtunity to play SR occurs.
Example: I play Unatural Disaster. I must proclaim which location I want to
burn when I play the card.
Following this logic (?), when shock troops is played, I should state which
mastercards from my hand I want to make vampires of and calculate the cost
of the card. And if I've stated that, and someone suddens the shock troops,
it just does not make sense to keep the disciplinecards afterwards.

So, by that logic, the location should still be burned even if the
Unnatural Disaster is Suddened.
This is not the case - the case is consistent.
You fully /declare/ the mater card when played. If it isn't canceled,
hen the effect is as you declared.

This made me think of another q:
What if Watenda, for example, cancels Death of My Conscience?
Do I not discard the cards?
Can I replace the DoMC?

Correct.
>Can I replace the DoMC?
Not until after combat. The do not replace is a stricture on the play
of the card - it is not part of the resolution of the card.

It's rather simple ! When someone plays Shock Troops, then she puts
the discipline cards from her hand into play, and then she replaces
all the cards she needs to complete her hand. To do differently IS
cheating/abusing, IMHO.
