Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it on a search. The mummies brought into play by Spell of Life lose the card text card tex of the original vampire card, right? For example, mummy Nakhthorheb cannot untap during minion phases, and wouldn't have +1 strength, correct? Spell of Life [LotN:C] Cardtype: Action Clan: Follower of Set +1 stealth action. Put this card in play. Only one Spell of Life may be played each turn. You may burn five Spells of Life to put up to five vampires from your uncontrolled region in play. Each represents a unique mummy ally with life equal to capacity, 1 bleed and 2 strength who can enter combat with a minion as a (D) action. jase

Spell of Life uses only the crypt card's name for uniqueness (and, briefly, capacity to make starting life). The crypt card's clan and Disciplines are also ignored. http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/fd1518b5bd58b116 [ quoted text not captured ]

[ quoted text not captured ] You mean the ONE Aaabt kindred mummy? Because he would lose his "I'm not unique text" if he got Spelled? Or all the regular, non-mummy Aaabts? It'd be interesting to see how someone makes that deck swing. -Asif Chaudhry

[ quoted text not captured ] Get a whole bunch of mummies in play, they all get the bed sheets all messy, make some lively spells, recruit Ossian and some other fun guys, then out pops Nefertiti and co and the whole world burns....

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes, it's funny, yes, it's tricksy, and yes, it's incredibly stupid. To have any chance of getting a) enough Aabbts to make it remotely worth it, b) a Nefertiti, and c) 3 non-Aabbt, non-Nefertiti vampires to turn into mummies, you will have to always draw your entire crypt. Unless you just want to take 5 turns and 5 actions to put a Nefertiti into play... it seems like there's an easier way to get her into play... I can't think of what it is, but I think it has something to do with INFLUENCE... ;-)

[ quoted text not captured ] You could always play with Might of the Camarilla. Not sure how a Justicar/IC card would merge with a Serpentis/FOS deck... best - chris

[ quoted text not captured ] Okay, just wanted to make sure we were clear on that... =)
