New Questions... I hope

I have a few questions and I'm hoping someone can help... 1. When it comes to a card such as "Sacrifice", where it states: "Choose a vampire with a capacity below 7 who belongs to the same clan as the acting vampire. Successful vote burns the chosen vampire." Does the same clan include Camarilla vampires? For instance could a Gangrel Antitribu call that vote to burn a Gangrel? 2. Additional Strikes - If a minion does enough damage to put another vampire in torpor, do the additional strikes by the vampire going into torpor get resolved? For instance, a Tremere does cauldron of blood for 3 points of damage to a Brujah that just played blur for 2 additional strikes, but the Brujah only has 2 blood left... Do the 2 additional strikes count? 3. Vampires in torpor - If a vampire is in torpor and untapped and another vampire successfully "rescues" it, does the vampire come out of torpor untapped, or does it have to spend its action to come out of torpor? 4. Pulse of the Canaille - If this card is played on a vampire (for the 3 bleed) with a +1 or +2 bleed, does that vampire get the +1 or +2 bleed on TOP of the 3 bleed it gets from Pulse of the Canaille? 5. Inner Circle Member - Can Inner Circle Members play political action cards as a Prince or Justicar? And lastly, 6. Is there a Master card which allows you to get a vampire out of torpor? By spending blood, sacrificing a vampire, giving up your first born... ANYTHING? Thanks for any help, I appreciate all the responses I've gotten so far. John Lewis

For instance could a Gangrel >Antitribu call that vote to burn a Gangrel? > No. See the Sabbat Rules sheet. Despite the similarity in name, Gangrel Antitribu is nothing to do with Gangrel. They're not the same clan at all, and, say, Consanguineous Boon or Con. Condemnsation won't count them either. >2. Additional Strikes - If a minion does enough damage to put another >vampire in torpor, do the additional strikes by the vampire going into >torpor get resolved? No. He would go to torpor during the Damage Resolution phase. It's only after that that he gets to choose to play additional strikes. Since he's already in torpor, he can't choose to play them. > For instance, a Tremere does cauldron of blood for 3 >points of damage to a Brujah that just played blur for 2 additional strikes, >but the Brujah only has 2 blood left... Do the 2 additional strikes count? > The point is moot. The Brujah goes to torpor from the Cauldron of Blood. It is only after the playing and resolution of that that he could play the Blur anyway. >3. Vampires in torpor - If a vampire is in torpor and untapped and another >vampire successfully "rescues" it, does the vampire come out of torpor >untapped, or does it have to spend its action to come out of torpor? Only a vampire taking an action becomes tapped. Rescuing from torpor will not untap a tapped vampire, but it won't tap an untapped vampire. For instance, I begin my turn with Sheldon in torpor and Duck out of Torpor. Both untap (start of my turn). Duck rescues Sheldon. Duck is now tapped, but Sheldon isn't. If Sheldon is on 0 blood (say, he already was or Duck forced him to pay some of the rescue cost), he will hunt - but that's nothing to do with the rescue. He will just take a normal hunting action. If he has blood on him, when he comes out of torpor, he's free to take any other action he likes (not just hunting, due to the rule on 0 blood forces a hunt). So it could go: Duck on 3, Sheldon on 9. Duck rescues Sheldon. Take 2 blood from somewhere between them (the special rule that allows a diablerie rescue cost to be split). Then, because only Duck took the action, Sheldon can do what he likes. He could bleed, or equip or whatever else you want him to do. > >4. Pulse of the Canaille - If this card is played on a vampire (for the 3 >bleed) with a +1 or +2 bleed, does that vampire get the +1 or +2 bleed on >TOP of the 3 bleed it gets from Pulse of the Canaille? Ah. The Jyhad text gives it 3 bleed. The V:TES and Sabbat text gives it +2 bleed, so the question is moot. You get +2 bleed from the Pulse and +2 bleed from, say, Arika's built in extra bleed, giving her a base bleed of 5. The aggro with deciding when something reset a value and added to it "re-wrote" these cards in the reprint. However, when you get into a situation like this, it seems that the card that was last played which resets a value comes into effect and then anything which adds on top of it comes later - so, Bianca (+1 hand damage (again, changed from the Jyhad wording of "2 hand damage")) choosing to play Torn Signpost at superior (I've given her a skill card) works like this: Set hand damage to 3, and then add Bianca's modifier. So reset the value first, and then add on top. > >5. Inner Circle Member - Can Inner Circle Members play political action >cards as a Prince or Justicar? > No. They're not a Prince or a Justicar so they can't. (In V:TM, it might be possible, but this isn't V:TM, so no.) >And lastly, >6. Which means he heals all three points of damage from the inferior Cauldron and doesn't have enough blood to pay for the Blur, but is still "ready" (not in torpor). > >3. Correct. The VTES/Sabbat text also adds the restriction that a given vampire can have only one Pulse. > The aggro with deciding when something reset a value and added to it > "re-wrote" these cards in the reprint. Thank you VERY much for your answers, Guys. I really appreciate the clarification.
