Some more questions: 1. Can i play Master Disciplines cards on a vampire in torpor? 2. If a Prince is in torpor, does he vote? 3. Vampire A plays Carrion Crows. Vampire B plays Majesty. Does Vampire B take 1R or 2R damage from CC? 4. Can i use Goth Band ability to transfer counters from Tomb of Ramses to Short Term Investiment? 5. Can i use Cat's Guidance to get +1 intercept and use it again (another card) to untap the same vampire? 6. Vampire A tries to rescue Vampire B from torpor. He is blocked, he plays Majesty and untaps. Can he try to rescue Vampire C from torpor? (There are 2 vampires in torpor: B and C) Thanks again! .- Luis....@ip.pt

Only one reaction card of the same name can be used by a minion during an action, regardless of effect. > 6. Vampire A tries to rescue Vampire B from torpor. No. S:CE prempts the strike resolution in which the damage from CC would otherwise occur. > 4. Can i use Goth Band ability to transfer counters from Tomb of > Ramses to Short Term Investiment? Yes, if you do not control the Tomb. > 5. Can i use Cat's Guidance to get +1 intercept and use it again > (another card) to untap the same vampire? Not in the same action, no. [1.6.3.5] > 6. (There are 2 vampires in torpor: B and C) Not if you're playing the NRA rule from the DCI tournament rules, no. "Encounter to Rescue" is an action type. -- L. [ quoted text not captured ] Right. But this rule (NRA) is optional. Officially, it is a tournament rule only, though usually adopted for casual play as well. If you do not use this rule, you can repeat the same action type, or even the same action, as many times as you want unless limited by card text (as by Delaying Tactics or Change of Target). Most people on this NG will probably recommend that your group use the NRA rule, as you can otherwise do some pretty sick things. Was there additional errata to Goth Band. The Band says that you can take a (D) action to remove a counter from any master in play. And since the (7/7?) munging of (D) actions that would lead me to believe that you can do it even if you control the Tomb. I believe I'll have to take a closer look at the (D) action errata. Yes, there was errata to Goth Band, Darius Styx, and Powerbase: Mexico City. You cannot target yourself with these cards. They were issued as part of the 7/7 rulings. These 3 cards were designed under the old errata to the (D) symbol. This errata was removed by the 7/7 rulings, and the (D) symbol now works as described in all the rulebooks. Sadly, this also meant that the above three cards, which were designed with the old errata in mind, had to have errata in order to work as intended. As far as it relates to the (D) symbol, more errata was removed than added as a result of the 7/7 rulings. The current (correct) interpretation of the (D) symbol is preferable for reasons too numerous to mention. I'm not sure how you feel it was "munged". [ quoted text not captured ]
