Q: "cancelled" actions & "since your last turn"

Do you always retrieve the card/cost of a cancelled action or strike ( say through, Change of Target et al ) or only when speicified in the card text? Also what does "since your last turn" mean exactly? If I burn a minion during my turn, can I daemonic possession it in the same turn?

If the action is blocked or cancelled, you don't pay. The blood you spent on modifiers is lost cose it was paid when you played them though. The card stays on the affected minion until someone removes it. So, yes, as long as the card is on him, he loses one blood or life each untap phase. reyda
