Hello again :) I've been thinking about these two things and could not find anything to base an answer on: - According to the system V:tES has been based on, vampires can enter torpor voluntarily. Nothing on the rulebook (or anywhere I've looked, for that matter...) gave me a hint as if this could be possible on the card game. What do you have to say about this? - It's a main rule that when a vampire commits diablerie, there may be a call to vote (by any Meth) to burn the Diabolist. It has also been said that this vote may only be called once per diablerie act. But if no-one calls a vote immediately after the act has been commited, when can it be called (note that if we look at the V:TM system, the Diabolist's aura fades after 40 days or so, so you shouldn't be able to call it at any time in the future). Thanks in advance :) David Pontes 8[

This would make an unbalanced card (Fame) even more unbalanced. There is no valid reason to allow this in the card game - same as not allowing you to choose "no strike" as a strike (very possible in reality). > - It's a main rule that when a vampire commits diablerie, there >may be a call to vote (by any Meth) to burn the Diabolist. It must happen immediately (before the next action or the end of the minion phase). Note that each action represents what the minions are doing over the course of approximately a game month, so this isn't too far from the VtM 40-day specification (which I have only your post to go on). Note that you can't diablerize whith one vampire and then "talk fast" to begin your next minion action - anyone may request that you wait. It is usually good form to ask if anyone wants to call a bloodhunt before going on - since someone almost always will. -- L. Dawn Operation, and especially Force of Will will send you to Torpor. The reason behind the no strictly voluntary torpor, is strictly game balance. It is already possible to mess up peoples' Malkavians beyond belief with Malkavian Dementation. Were you able to simply send them to torpor with no save and no extra cards, the Malkavians would be too hosed. > - It's a main rule that when a vampire commits diablerie, there > may be a call to vote (by any Meth) to burn the Diabolist. However, it is assumed that if noone calls a bloodhunt, then it is simple general acquiesence to the diablery, and it can never be called again. > Thanks in advance :) > > David Pontes > > 8[ > > Ritaxis Follower of Set -- "Every message you leave on this answering machine, teaches YOU shaolin kung fu."
