1- If Vampire A attempts to rescue himself from torpor, Vampire B blocks and Vampire A play a Kiss of Ra in major. Can Vampire B diablerize Vampire A ? 2- Can a torporized vampire can do a Wake or a Forced Awakening ? 3- Can a tapped vampire in torpor can do a Reform Body ? 4- Some players here think that Ranjan Rishi is an old woman... what do you think ? Thanks Rafid

Can Vampire B > diablerize Vampire A ? * Only ready vampires can commit diablerie. Vampires in Torpor cannot. [RTR 23-JUN-1998] Also, the vampire (B) has to successfully block in the first place, something that he never does - the block attempt if thwarted by Kiss of Ra (card text). > 2- Can a torporized vampire can do a Wake or a Forced Awakening ? No. [1.6.3.5] [6.5.1] > 3- Can a tapped vampire in torpor can do a Reform Body ? Also [1.6.3.5] [6.5.1] -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Thanks for the answers. Another quick question : If I use Flesh of Marble in minor, the opposing minion hits me for 2 normal + 2 agg, I guess I take 1 damage + 2 agg ? Can I then use Fortitude cards to prevent the damage after the damage reduction by FoM ? If not, before ? So, if I use FoM in sup and opposing minion hits me for 4 normal damage, can I let the FoM reduces it to 1 and play a Resilience in minor ? Thanks for your time, Rafid

Your choice. > Can I then use Fortitude cards to prevent the damage after the damage > reduction by FoM ? No. FoM offers only damage prevention, not recuction, BTW. > If not, before ? Sure. > So, if I use FoM in sup and opposing minion hits me for 4 normal > damage, can I let the FoM reduces it to 1 and play a Resilience in > minor ? No. [ quoted text not captured ]

Yup. See current cardtext for Flesh of Marble, available at http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Cardlist_F.html#Flesh_of_Marble Flesh of Marble [Jyhad, V:TES] Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Protean Only usable before range is chosen. If the vampire takes [(and does not prevent)] more than 1 damage in a round, excess damage is prevented, although aggravated damage cannot be prevented. This lasts for the duration of the combat. (S) As above, but aggravated damage can be prevented. >Can I then use Fortitude cards to prevent the damage after the damage >reduction by FoM ? Nope. See cardtext. You have to be done with all your other damage prevention effects before FoM kicks in. >If not, before ? Sure, why not? >So, if I use FoM in sup and opposing minion hits me for 4 normal >damage, can I let the FoM reduces it to 1 and play a Resilience in >minor ? Nope. FoM reduces all unprevented damage to 1, at which time it's no longer preventable (since you've passed on your chances to play Resilience et alias before FoM takes effect). gomi -- Individually, I love you all with affection unspeakable; but, collectively, I look upon you with a disgust that amounts to absolute detestation. - Gilbert and Sullivan, 'Pirates of Penzance'
