Could you please post it? -------------------------------------------- 1) Allies get burned when they loose their life points. Talaq has 1 life and strikes with Blood Sweat. Is the opponent damaged? 2) Talbot's chainsaw VtES text: "(...) minion may attack others as a +1 stealth action, presses to continue combat on the 1st round and (...)". What are these "presses"? Does this mean the minion must press once on the 1st round or that it has unlimited presses on the 1st round? Also, can the damage from Talbot's Cs be put on Ambrosius to no effect (since it's not aggravated)? 3) Gas Powered Chainsaw has a rather different wording from the one on Sawed-off Shotgun, though they resemble one another (give or take ranged damage and a pool). The difference is that on GPC, it states "this weapon can inflict 3 damage per combat", and SOS says "only usable once per combat". Does this mean that if I strike with one of these and the opponen dodges I could still use the GPS again whereas the SOS is unusable? What if damage is prevented, does the wording on GPS imply that I could strike again for the amount of prevented damage? 4) What exactly does the card "Justicar Retribution" do? When does a vampire has a "permanent bleed score of 3 or more" under standart set cards (I realize with Legendary vampire this is possible, but I can't imagine other ways). Are ICs affected? (guess not) Thanks for reading this :) Please reply to me directly (I'll never trust my news server) David Pontes 8[

Not from the strike, since Talaq is burned (and combat ended) before strike resolution. > 2) Talbot's chainsaw VtES text: "(...) minion may attack others as a +1 > stealth action, presses to continue combat on the 1st round and (...)". > What are these "presses"? Does this mean the minion must press once on the > 1st round or that it has unlimited presses on the 1st round? It is a convoluted sentence. The "presses" is a present-perfect verb tense of press, used (in this case) to indicate that the bearer of Talbot's automatically presses on the first round of the Talbot-given-attack-action. > Also, can the damage from Talbot's Cs be put on Ambrosius to no > effect (since it's not aggravated)? Correct, Ambrosius can receive and ignore the untap-phase damage of Talbot's Chainsaw. > 3) Gas Powered Chainsaw has a rather different wording from the one on > Sawed-off Shotgun, though they resemble one another (give or take ranged > damage and a pool). The template on GPC should indicate that it is only usuable once per combat, just like the Shotgun. The text from the WotC list (which has been wrong in other places) is: The minion with this equipment can inflict 3 damage as a strike once each combat. Where did you get your card text quote from? If it's from the actual card (and the WotC list is in error), then I'll pass the question on to the RT. Otherwise, treat it like the above quote. > 4) What exactly does the card "Justicar Retribution" do? (guess not) Get Ozmo with Tasha Morgan. Or any vampire who has perfomed a Pulse of the Canaille. ICs are affected; they have base bleeds of 3. -- L. I'm sure this has been asked before but: 1) If normal and aggravated damage are done in the same round, who chooses what damage gets applied first? Or is normal damage done first, then aggravated, or vice versa? 2) Do dragon's breath rounds add 2 aggravated damage in addition to the weapon's normal damage? Or does it make all damage from the weapon aggravated?

When a mix of aggravated and normal damage is done at the same time, the vampire must burn blood to heal the normal damage before dealing with the aggravated damage (thereby maximizing the chances of burning a vampire). > 2) Do dragon's breath rounds add 2 aggravated damage in addition to the > weapon's normal damage? 1- "The Barrens" allows to "tap to discard a card". Is there a ruling about WHEN tapping is allowed, or can it be used at any time ? (out-of-turn, during a combat, etc.) 2- If a vampire tries to get himself or someone else out of Torpor, are the two blood points spent even if the action is blocked ? sL

No. The blood is spent only if the action is successful. [ quoted text not captured ]

No. Blood cost of an action is only paid if it succeeds (Tereza Rostas's Edge theft is an exception to the rule). J. Andrew Lipscomb <ew...@chattanooga.net, them...@delphi.com> PGP keys by request
