Hi, I think this one has already been asked but well, I wasn't there at that moment. A friend of mine has told us that Pulled Fangs is only playable during the press phase. The question is, if I hit a vampire hard enough to bring him below zero, can I play PF to burn him ? (is there a press phase) It's not obvious because since he's going to torpor the press phase can be skipped. On the other hand you can play amaranth during this time... An other question. When a potent vampire uses Disarm, who's sent into torpor ? I would say the opponent of the vampire using Disarm, but I want to be sure. Thanks in advance. Olivier

That ruling was overturned in the latest RTR (11/13/96). Pulled Fangs can be played during the press step, or any time the round is ending (S:CE, vampire going to torpor, etc.) >The question is, if I hit a vampire hard enough to bring him below zero, can I >play PF to burn him ? (is there a press phase) Yes. (No.) >It's not obvious because since he's going to torpor the press phase can be >skipped. On the other hand you can play amaranth during this time... With the new ruling, this ambiguity is cleared up (by reversing the old way of clearing up this ambiguity). >An other question. >When a potent vampire uses Disarm, who's sent into torpor ? >I would say the opponent of the vampire using Disarm, but I want to be sure.
