Hi all, 10 Players in tourney. Combat heavy environment. Two potence Rush including the deck listed below. Two Tzmisce sleaze intercept Rotschec. One Ravnos spawn/week. One Tremere bleed. One malk bleed. One Salubri anti combat thingy. Two other unknown. For me, first round, Tzmisce int predator basically stopped me from going anarch right off the bat. End of game. Second round, had to make a deal with my Salubri-anti int/rush combat prey to go a two-two split. Third round, couldn't get past my Tzmisce sleaze prey. Got into finals on a coin-toss, hence the deck name. In the finals, I as sandwiched by the Tzmisce. I made a deal with both predator and prey to allow me to go anarch with the threat of putting a Fame on whomever of them said "No." Then I made another deal with my grand prey (also Potence rush) to agree that his predator had to die in return for me helping him go forward until it was just the two of us. Then I made another deal with my grand predator for a non-agression pact and discarded my Fame as I had noone left to put it on. It took a long while for my grand prey to take my prey. I took no actions that my predator could block and left my anarch idle all game. Ultimately, time became a problem with my prey gone and my predator influencing himself out of the game out of spite. Knowing I needed a GW to win, and not being able to renegotiate something reasonable with my ally prey, I stabbed and took him with enough time to take the Tremere as well. The deck follows: ------------ Deck Name: Potence Coin Toss Created By: John Alston-Campbell Description: Old school weenie Potence with an Anarch Revolt variation. Wins by failing miserably in the preliminary rounds and getting into the finals on a coin toss. Then, deal hard to get all other players but your prey to help you win. Some deal renegotiation may be required for end-game. Idea was to drop the Anarch Revolts as they came out while promoting the idea that it as much better for people to "go anarch" rather than vote them away. Then, as each new prey presents itself, rush the anarch into torpor. I did think when typing that Wolfgang was a stupid vamp choice for such a deck given inf Potence for 4 cap and should be tossed. My guess is that he has infiltrated from some other deck. OK, I disqualify. J

[ quoted text not captured ] Do you? I'm not sure if an unintentional deck infraction like that would cause a post-event forfeit... LSJ, what's the correct procedure here? [ quoted text not captured ]

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] There is no post-event forfeit (barring extenuating circumstances like malice aforethought). Catch mistakes in game. Uncaught (or mis-ruled) activity is jsut chalked up as learning experiences.
