I am sure this has been asked in the past ,but i can't find it looking up keywords Ok, when zombie/crows/wolfs kick in during strike resolution. Do you need more then one Fort card to prevent damage from hand strike and enviromental damage or can one fort card prevent all damage from all sources? Also are the wolf and zombie the same type of applied damage for zombie says "takes1 additional damage during strike resolution" but wolf says "the opposing minion takes 1 damage during strike resolution."

I forgot to add the following question. Are there cards like Soak that could prevent all damage from all sources in combat in the above case?

The damage is all piled together. If your one prevention effect can prevent enough points of damage, it doesn't care that the various points of damage came from different sources. Unless card text indicates that it does care, of course. Skin of Steel can only prevent damage from a strike, for example. > Also are the wolf and zombie the same type of applied damage for > zombie says "takes1 additional damage during strike resolution" but > wolf says "the opposing minion takes 1 damage during strike > resolution." > Yes.

[ quoted text not captured ] You might consider Eyes of Blades or Bloodform, although immunity isn't really the same as preventing.

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] Oh, and Hidden Strength with a sufficiently large X.

[ quoted text not captured ] That must be a really HUGE X!

Jozxyqk

[ quoted text not captured ] For Dragos with a skillcard, that X is 0 :)

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] I think you're thinking of how much blood he'll burn, not of X. Dragos with a skill card choosing X=0 can prevent only 1 damage. He still needs a sufficiently large X to prevent "all" damage (and burns 0 blood to play it at that X).
