Is there a maximum capacity for a vampire (12 for example)? -- Michael Beer, Dortmund, Germany, ICQ 1175389 -------------------------------------------- Life is founded on Chaos. So if you find your living room became disordered: Don't panic! It's natural... :)

Remember that you can't play a discipline card on a vamp who already has that discipline at superior level. That probably puts some sort of upper limit on capacity, but it's going to be very, *very* large... Chris Mattern

In some article, Chris Mattern <matt...@cais.com> writes >Nope; as long as you can find legal ways to increase his capacity, >you can keep making him bigger. You have to use Masika, because he has the highest capacity and the lowest number of Disciplines (i.e. more Discipline cards can be played on him than on anyone else of the same capacity) Masika 10 capacity Praxis Seizure: Paris +1 (because he's a Toreador) Animalism +1 Animalism +1 (already got Superior Auspex) (already got Superior Celerity) Dementation +1 Dementation +1 Dominate +1 Dominate +1 Fortitude +1 Fortitude +1 Necromancy +1 Necromancy +1 Obfuscate +1 Obfuscate +1 Obtenebration +1 Obtenebration +1 Potence +1 Potence +1 (already got Superior Presence) Protean +1 Protean +1 Quietus +1 Quietus +1 Serpentis +1 Serpentis +1 Thaumaturgy +1 Thaumaturgy +1 Vicissitude +1 Vicissitude +1 = 37 capacity ^^^^^^^^^^^ Eek came to mind. Admittedly, that kind of thing would never ever happen in a game, but it's funny just to see what you could do. Also note that you'd need 26 Master: Discipline cards in the first place. And one vote. And enough Presence to get the vote through (not really difficult). Still, I think 37 capacity is a bit ridiculous. In fact, any capacity over 11 is verging on the absurd, considering that the players represent Methuselahs and one of the most famous Methuselahs in Vampire: the Masquerade is Etrius of the Tremere. Maybe the players should represent the Antediluvians instead - the founders of the 13 major clans (not Pander or antitribu). Bags me being Absimilliard! -- Justin Grace
