hi everybody, especialy the powers that be i opened a box of sabbat war boosters yesterday. i noticed the following disturbing facts: 1.) there seems to be the same card/booster distribution problem as with the last print runs 1.1) a non fixed number of commons/uncommons/vamps per booster (i got as much as 6 vamps in some boosters and never less than 2) or a non fixed uncommon vampire to uncommon librarycard ratio 2.) a duplication of cards in the boosters 2.1) in 5 boosters i had the following cards in sequence: Vamp A Card B Vamp A Card B i had a rare card in every booster now there are several possibilities: 1) the exact same screw up as with the last print run of SW happened (http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=4EzM5.9891%24M85.78608%40news4.atl) 2) my retailer somehow received old SW and not the new print run (IMHO unrealistic) 3) there was no new print run but old stock held back was released as new printrun (paranoid-conspiracy-theroy-nonsense) it is somewhat annoying to open a box of boosters and get approx 30% vamps. could someone (preferably LSJ or Steve Wieck) make a statement on this? is there something on the box to indicate which print run it is from ? regards Chris.QJ

That was the target number, actually. ~3 out of 11 cards should be vampires in SW packs. While the variance in each pack is higher than we'd like, the overall ratio is correct. > could someone (preferably LSJ or Steve Wieck) make a statement on > this? I haven't seen the 3rd printrun of Sabbat War. But if I remember correctly, the inking on the 2nd run was somewhat lighter than on the 1st run? (I could have that backwards, but I don't think so.) Also, the 2nd run of SW fixed typos or omissions on Creation Rites, Greta Kircher, and Power Structure. That wouldn't help in telling 2 from 3 though. Josh old cards in new wrappers
