I arleady know the answer to this one, but I need to print it out. So here goes. Question: I'm attempting to block a Camarilla exemplary, with a vampire who has no blood on him, what happens? Can the vampire attempt to block at all, even though he must burn a blood to attempt.?

[ quoted text not captured ] He doesn't have to burn a blood "to attempt to block". He burns a blood when he attempts to block. (i.e., it isn't a cost that must be paid in order to attempt to block). So, he attempts to block, burns a blood (ignoring "burn blood" effects in excess of his current blood supply, as all vampires always do), and the block attempts continues as normal. -- L.
