Hello, Today's question is about the Aim cards (well, mainly Target Head and Target Vitals). We know they inflict the same kind of damage as the modified strike inflicts (aggravated, ranged, not preventable [by ...], ...). But what if the strike inflicts multiple kinds of damage? Examples A, with a Saturday Night Special, is in combat with B. A's strike is to shoot for 1R damage. 1/ A modifies the strike playing a Target Head (which is not cancelled). A replaces the Target Head, and plays a Dragon's Breath Rounds. I suppose B has to deal with 3 regular and 2 agg damage. Is this correct ? 2/ A modifies his strike with a Dragon's Breath Rounds. A also modifies it with a Target Head, uncancelled. What exactly is inflicted on B ? 3/ A modifies the strike playing a Target Vitals (which is not cancelled) and a Dragon's Breath Rounds (I think the order doesn't change anything here). This time, B has to deal with 1 regular and 2 agg damage. a - If the regular damage is not prevented, B will suffer an extra 2 regular damage. Is this correct ? b - if the regular damage is prevented, but at least 1 agg isn't, B will suffer an extra 2 agg damage. Is this correct ? Thanks ~~ Dragon's Breath Rounds Cardtype: Combat Ammo. Only usable before resolution of a gun's strike. This gun inflicts +2 aggravated damage each strike for the remainder of this combat. Burn the gun after strike resolution. No more than one ammo card can be used on a gun each combat. Target Head Cardtype: Combat Aim. Play when choosing a strike. The strike does +2 damage. The opposing minion may discard a combat card [COMBAT] to cancel this card. If any damage from this strike is successfully inflicted on the opposing minion, he or she cannot use any additional strikes or presses this round, and you may set the range for the next round. A minion may play only one aim each strike. Target Vitals Cardtype: Combat Aim. Play when choosing a strike. If any damage from this strike is successfully inflicted on the opposing minion, he or she takes an additional 2 damage from this strike, and he or she cannot press this round. The opposing minion may discard two combat cards [COMBAT] to cancel this card. A minion may play only one aim each strike.

No. The extra damage only inherits the properties of the base damage. [ quoted text not captured ]

The order does matter. You can't announce the gun strike, then play DBR, then play TV. TV must be played immediately after the gun strike declaration, DBR must be played just before strike resolution. "just before" means after both strikes are chosen. Correct ? Another Target Vitals question : A (+1 strength) and B are in combat. A strikes for 2 with TV. For some reason, B prevents only 1 damage from the hand strike, triggering the TV's effect. Can B still play prevention cards to prevent the 2 damage from TV (don't ask me why, maybe B needs to lose exactly 1 blood for some reason) ? Or does the "takes" in the "takes 2 additionnal damage" means it's no longer preventable ? thanks Stone

So if you are playing multiple effects as the strike is announced, surely you can order them however you wish? [ quoted text not captured ]

It may be played any time after your strike is announced, even before the blocking minion announces xer strike. > Another Target Vitals question : > A (+1 strength) and B are in combat. I can't link from here, but you did write about DBR "It is only usable before resolution of a gun's strike. As in "immediately before". The "immediately before" does preclude using DBR between the strike declarations of both minions, doesn't it ? Stone

[ quoted text not captured ] I don't know. It sounds like it might have.
