No. It doesn't count as belonging to the thief until after /strike resolution/. You couldn't target it with a steal/destroy equipment strike during the same batch of strikes, since you must name a target for the strike which is a valid target at the time the strike is announced. If you gained an additional strike, you could destroy it later the same round, or you could simply press and destroy it next round. -- L. In a game we played last night a situation came up where by a sneaky bugger ravnos used blessing of durga syn (or however the thing is spelt) to thieve the brilliant Black Cat's Sports bike (with first strike) Black Cat, understandably peeved decided to hit back and destroy the thing (with shattering blow) before that evil little Ravnos could get any use out of it. Now apparently I couldn't do this because the stolen equipment doesn't count as belonging to the thief until after combat. Is this the case? Thank you in advance for any answers. (and PS I don't really hate Ravnos, its just that that sports bike was my only intercept and in the next turn was unably to block the same sneaky ravnos as it bled me to death with its horrible Fortune teller's shop).
