Wow. Cool website. If WOTC had done that before, we could have many more players. The web simulation of a game let dream about a computer game based played live on-line via the internet. It's also cool to see that White-Wolf, so far, works well with the VEKN. Let's hope all of this will continue...

I found it. It is not linked to WW's main site, but I did find it via the Rulemonger mirror site (the URL of which I just sent off today to my coterie - rats). Thanks ps, that URL is <http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/> Chris [ quoted text not captured ]

Me replying again to this thread - LSJ- What happened to the power search? It really made my life easier. And what about a) the puzzler archives, and b) that cool art you used to have on your site... it looked like a well of blood or something. Chris Jean-Francois Caron wrote: > > Wow. Cool website. And special thanks to LSJ, who did a *great* job converting the DCI rules to VEKN tournament rules. :) Now we have 5! limited formats. :) The VTES homepage is great, has a cool look (mostly green) and is really helpful and up-to-date. The online demo-game rocks! Carl [ quoted text not captured ]

But I think there's a little text mistake in Beth's third turn. Text says: [Minion: Beth [taps Dorian Strack], and declares a bleed. Since there is no stealth on the action, John has Gilbert Duane [block] the bleed. Combat occurs with steps just like before, however John and Beth are interested in protecting their minions rather than fighting, so the combat proceeds as follows] And Gilbert Duane is controlled by Steve, not by John... A so little mistake in a really great website :) Jean-Francois Caron

Wow. The new site is cracking! Really top notch effort! Good work fellas! :-)((( > The VTES homepage is great, has a cool look (mostly green) and is > really helpful and up-to-date. Just a thought, though, maybe the font colour could be a little brighter - I'm having trouble reading it! Dave UGPFW [ quoted text not captured ]

I wouldn't mind seeing the puzzlers back again. I would have contributed a few when you became unable to do so...but like you, I was too swamped at work at the time to come up with any decent ones. On a related note, I especially like the format of the new rulings, errata, and clarifications web page. Having everything on one page makes it much easier to use. The only question I have is when will they link to it from their main page? While I can understand them holding off on making a big push until product actually hits the market, I don't want to see VTES get returned to the "step child" treatment it got from WotC/DCI. Like everybody else, I really liked the demo game. I would love to see an on-line version of Jyhad like that! "Seeing" the cards makes things all the more interesting. Is there a link to the VTES web-site from White Wolf's Homepage? I frequent the latter site and I haven't seen anything about it. In any case, I would really like it if White Wolf made a link (under the Games heading probably) and then posted a big announcement about it. In general, another thing I'd like to see is maybe being able to see the picture of a card. Although card text (and use) is the most important feature when putting together decks, I do have to admit that the artwork affects my decision as well. I know there are probably a whole tangle of legal and copyright issues, but maybe White Wolf will be more leniant than WotC... Well, once again, great job on the web-site! Halcyan 2
