Sins of the Cauchemar Set: Ancient Hearts Rarity: Common Type: Reaction Blood Cost: 1 Prerequisite: auspex Card Text: +1 intercept. SUP: Put this card on the acting vampire. You still control this card. This reacting vampire gets +1 intercept when the vampire with this card attempts to bleed you. The vampire with this card can burn this card as a (D) action. If I'm reading correctly, the superior's +1 intercept would apply on the same action SotC was played on, if the acting minion is bleeding, correct? That is to say: Ozmo attempts to bleed. Zoe attempts to block, plays SotC at superior, and (because Ozmo is now [a] bleeding, and [b] has SotC on him) has +1 intercept v. Ozmo, correct? Ancillary question: Zoe can use SotC (superior) even if intercept is not currently needed, as the card does not increase her intercept directly in the same fashion as (say) Enhanced Senses, but rather sets up conditions which grant intercept if fulfilled, correct? gomi Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

And assuming I had a hand full of the things, could each of my vampires play one on the same action? It appears I don't have to be blocking/attempting to block in order to play it. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "I know my ex-boyfriend lies. Oh, he does it every time. Each of your untapped ready vampires with superior auspex could play one on the acting minion, yes. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ]

For one action on my opponent's side, I can bring out two or three of the cards, say - and give him an action to do to burn it, which I can block :) I can certainly say I've never really seen it come up as a card in games before, and I'll certainly have to investigate the possibilities, since I've been toying with the idea of a defensive intercept deck which uses weenies to intercept in first (Isabel de Leon, Colin Flynn being good for it - small Auspex) and then using Fast Reactions with a big vampire with maybe a weapon. Any useful 'permanent' intercept you can get has to be a good thing, especially when you don't have to tap out on your turn to play it. :) [ quoted text not captured ]
