In other words, Harry has 1 strength against all opponents who are not non-mortal allies. He has 2 strength against Garous, and War Ghouls, and Wraiths and such. >err, does this only apply to allies? Absolutely, the card text is clear. > or anybody that's not a mortal ally? Any ally that isn't mortal, right. > Vampires included? Vampires are not non-mortal allies, so Harry has 1 strength against them. Carpe noctem. Lasombra http://www.TheLasombra.com

If Harry is using hand strikes then yes, he effectively has 2 strength against Garous, but his special also applies to non-strength strikes (similar to Reverend Blackwood's ability). Thus he Body Flares for 3R aggravated vs. Garous for instance. Halcyan 2

I believe the confusion is between: (non-mortal) allies and: non-(mortal allies) Vampires would fit under the second one - not being a "mortal ally". The first one is right, of course. The hyphen aids reading. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Lucky that my breasts are small and humble, EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 So you don't confuse them with mountains. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D

[ quoted text not captured ] Yeah. I remember all the confusion Judgment: Camarilla Segregation gave about people trying to burn other player's pool for controlling allies. Or giving Cornelius +1 bleed when bleeding a Renegade Garou's controller. Of having IC members use Protect Thine Own to burn Muddles. Oh, wait, that's right. There's no confusion there. The hyphen doesn't allow any other reading. If you know what "non-Camarilla vampire" means, you should know what "non-mortal ally" means. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
