This came up a while ago and another question about Deflected bleeds
got me thinking about it again.
It you play Major Boon (the card that lets you take a bleed for
another Methuselah) are you then allowed to reduce it with Telepathic
Counter (the card reducing bleeds by 1 or 2, at any rate) to a bleed
of only 1? A more general question, can the bleed be changed at all
after Major Boon is played -- Conditioned/Deflected/etc...
This is from memory, but TR reduces a bleed against YOU by 1 or 2,
correct? That means you can't play it before you take the bleed yourself.
The reasoning on why you maybe could play TR afterwards is that Major Boon
causes you to be bled for 2 or 3 or whatever by the acting minion.
To me, it looks like that's reading more into the card than is there.
You're paying for the blood loss instead of the other Meth. You're not
actually being bleed or changing the minion's target. In effect, Major
Boon is played _after_ the bleed is finished.

You can any of those cards and the bleed can be modified later as the card says.

No. TC may only be used on a bleed against you. Major Boon does not
redirect the bleed to you, but merely lets you pay the bleed in place
of the target Methuselah.

The Bleed may be changed - both increased by Cond/Bond/Threat or
decreased by Spying Mission (which would nullify the Minor Boon) or
TelCounter (which could nullify the Minor Boon if the bleed was reduced
to zero). Yes, TelCounter can still be played by any of the target
Methuselah's minions.

No, you aren't being bled. You are paying the price for another Methuselah's
being bled.

Yes, but the bleed can still be modified by the original participants.

You mean Major Boon, but...
Spying Mission is not used as a normal action modifier, but only used once
the final bleed total has been determined. Major Boon is used while
normal action modifiers are being played, so would take effect before
Spying Mission would be played, and you'd get the benefit of the boon.
