If you're not TOMW, please read the whole post before responding. I think we've already used enough bandwidth *not* answering this question. Parity Shift - Political Action Prince or Justicar Select a Methuselah who has more pool than you. Divide up to X of that pool among all of the Methuselahs as you see fit. X is the number of Methuselahs in the game. Successful vote means that the pool is distributed as stated. I (the acting player) have 5 pool. My prey (the target) has 8 pool. There are four Methuselahs in the game. The "X of that pool" can be read as -- A -- " X of that Methuselah's pool" (as in X of the whole pot which is more than yours) So I could distibute *4* (8, not more than 4, yields 4) pool as I wished. -- B -- "X of that excess pool" (as in X of the pool which is more than yours, or X of the difference) So I could distibute *3* (8-5, not more than 4, yields 3) pool as I wished. Which is official? I'm not interested in how individual groups have interpretted the card. I'm interested in the *official* interpretation. If you have this information, by all means respond. I understand that almost everybody interprets the card as described in (A), so if you do as well and would like to say so here, please give a rationale as to why (B) is not correct rather than simply stating that you think (A) is correct. They are both valid English interpretations, and all I need is some official word. Thank You. L. Scott Johnson
