Imbued A has an Ivory Bow. He uses Strike With Conviction to strike for 2R agg at close range. Vampire A has superior Celerity, and plays Fast Hands as his strike, stealing the Ivory Bow with first strike. Does the Strike With Conviction burn? John Eno

[ quoted text not captured ] IANLSJ, but: No. As noted in this post (http://groups.google.com/group/ rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/2a2221a228811358?hl=en&) by LSJ: ------------------ > If Strike with Conviction is used to attempt a hand or weapon strike in > combat, is it burned on declaration, or on resolution? I figure probably > declaration. Resolution. Like a Grenade. ------------------ Since the strike never resolves, the SwC would never burn (much like Dragon's Breath Rounds won't trigger to burn the gun if it gets stolen before the strike resolves, SWC doesn't have a strike to resolve on and thus doesn't burn.) > John Eno -John Flournoy
